About Us
In 2008, my sister, Kristen decided she wanted to replace her income by pursuing her passions. She considered becoming certified as a natural-childbirth (Bradley) instructor or a yoga-instructor. She decided to combine her technical background in Mechanical Engineering with her passion for preserving the planet and create an informative website. In 2009, she and her husband Paul were provided with an offer they couldn't refuse and started Perfect Supplements. Kerrie and John bought Nourishing World from them and it has grown from there.

Why do we do this? Because life on this magnificent planet is so precious. Because our lives, all of us, and our loved ones, are precious and we need to take care of ourselves, and each other, the animals, and the environment. We are all connected. We must stop polluting the environment with unnecessary chemicals. There are toxic chemicals in our air, our water, our food, our body-care products, our cleaning products, our plastic bottles, our dry-cleaning, and our rugs. The land-fill in RI (and many other communities) is almost full. Cancer is an epidemic. We simply cannot just blindly move forward without change. Nourishing World is our way of doing our part. We financially support the environment, we research environmentally-friendly, ethical products and we pass the information along to you. Peace!
